Newbie confused with the interface

Hi All,
needed to scan a cd. installed qpxtool in ubuntu 9.04.
but it took me a while to realize i had to go to the media tab, check/cross the "C1/C2/CU" and "Read Transfer Rates" squares and then click the "Run Tests" button ...
before that i was clicking the run tests and getting a happy, but useless, "all tests complete!" box
is it only me...? am i dumbed down from using windose??
besides:
i get a nice graph in the transfer rate tab, but nothing else in the other tabs... where is the C1/C2/CU results?

PS: btw: i have a TSSTcorp CDDVDW SH-S222A SB00 burner

it seems you are using qpxtool-0.6.1 from ubuntu repository
this drive support is introduced in qpxtool 0.7 (but not extensively tested), so on 0.6.x and earlier versions you can perform read transfer rate test only
